Slips and Trips

Why making a claim for personal injury?

If you or someone you are responsible for has been the victim of an accident that wasn’t your fault and have suffered an injury due to this, you may be eligible to claim for compensation.

It can be an extremely difficult time when making a claim for compensation and we understand that this can also be at a time of financial uncertainty. Whilst some injuries may not prevent you from carrying on with your daily life, many do and can ultimately result in you having to take time off from work.

If you’ve been injured after tripping on a pavement, we’re here to help you make a compensation claim

Slips, trips and falls on pavements can cause painful injuries. Many people don’t realize that they can make a compensation claim to get the support they need during their recovery and into the future.

Every highway authority has a duty to maintain roads and footpaths. If a road surface has been poorly maintained and you’ve tripped and injured yourself because of it, then we can help you make it right.

Other types of accident/claims

All injury claims are taken seriously. We know that a personal injury can present itself in a variety of circumstances. Some examples of the personal injury cases that we regularly deal with consist of, but are not limited to:

In fatal accident claims, the deceased’s financial dependents or representatives can claim for loss of dependency.

When should I make a claim?

There's no time like the present and the sooner you make a claim, the better. There is a 3-year deadline from the point of which the injury occurs or you receive confirmation that the injury is directly or indirectly linked to the initial accident, to when you can make a claim. It is imperative that you get in contact with us as soon as possible in order for you to get the compensation you deserve. If it’s left too long, you will no longer be eligible to make a claim. Different laws will apply if the injury sustained is a result of an accident that occurred outside the UK.
